So What Have you Hidden Between the Cracks of Your Life?

Chinked cabin wall to represent the layers of stuck energy in our unconscious mindNancy Smeltzer, MFA

… or under the carpet? …or swept behind the bed? The photo on the left of the outer wall of an old mountain cabin chinked with mud and stones for insulation is a good representation for me of how we often unknowingly have swept issues out of sight so that they’re out of mind. Literally! Piece by piece, just as with these daubs of mud and stone in the photo, we’ve hidden aspects of ourselve deeply away in our unconscious minds.

Unfortunately, Western society doesn’t do much to promote the possibility that there’s a way to deal with these unwanted aspects of ourselves much less prepare us to do anything  productive with that stuck energy that we have stashed away. We take pills, or we moan about how things just always seem to happen to us, and without being taught any tools to alleviate the situation, there’s not much that’s going to change. That stuck energy might be dispelled for a short period by distracting methods, such as pulling in chaos, or self medicating, or any number of society approved way of being, such as various addictions like shopping. However, it’s my take, and that of my healing colleagues, that unstuck energy will keep tugging on your shirt sleeve, trying to get you to do something about it, until a really big crisis backs you into a wall, or you die. It’s often those life-defining crises such as a really serious illness, or losing someone you love that can cause a person to seek change in his life. However, many people go to their deathbeds, never having done much with the very issue that they had come down to Earth to learn. The good news is that you get to try to release and transform that hidden lesson some other lifetime until you get it.

For myself, having realized how much those little pieces of stuck energy have impacted my life, I’m doing all that I can to transform and release what I’m shown is hidden in me, when it’s revealed to me. I find that there’s nothing more important than taking the time to daily work on my issues, as I find that anything else that I might want to accomplish is not going to happen very effectively until I’ve completed the issue du jour (or week or month). Having not listened very often to my insistent body brain consciousness in the past, and then being overwhelmed with physical ailments as a consequence, if I can’t work on an issue at a particular time, I have to promise when I will to my little reptilian brain, and then keep my word and stop and deal with the issue at the future time I set. That way, I’m able to deadlines met, and still not be overwhelmed by physical pain.

Future postings will have more about how issues can be resolved. There’s a lot of information that I want to convey in these postings, so I’m parsing them out in small amounts to give you concepts to consider and digest.

NOTE: This posting was scheduled before Hurricane Sandy here on the East Coast of the USA. More will follow as electricity prevails.

About Nancy Smeltzer

I'm passionate about long distance spiritual and alternative healing, having had a successful practice now for over ten years. My clients work with me over the phone and on Skype from all over the USA and Canada, as well as Switzerland, Russia, and Australia. I specialize in helping people heal their negative repeating patterns of behavior and remove the stuck energy in their unconscious minds. By doing that, they can quit going round and round in circles,. repeating the same mistakes, and move forward to having the life of their dreams. Besides my holistic healing practice, I've also been professionally creating art quilts and other fiber arts for over 30 years. My specialty is contemporary beaded art quilts. On my web site, I bill myself as the "Self Proclaimed Button and Bead Queen of Maryland (USA)." My recent works have images that are based on what I see when I tap into a person's energy field and are called Meditation Gardens. These visionary art pieces are the perfect place for that person to play and meditate. In my spare time, I'm a rabid, avid "dirty nails" gardener, composing scenes with plants. Sometimes, I come inside so dirty that my clothes have to go straight into the washing machine; they're too dirty for the dirty clothes hamper! -The Official Google + site for Nancy Smeltzer
